Thank you for choosing Off The Beaten Path! Please read this refund policy carefully before confirming your booking with us. By paying your deposit, you agree to the following:

Off The Beaten Path Travel Agency maintains a strict refund policy due to the nature of travel bookings and supplier agreements.

2. Deposits

  • All deposits are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • This applies regardless of cancellation timing or reason, including personal, medical, or unforeseen circumstances.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation terms of the relevant travel supplier (airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.).
  • In most cases, cancellations made within 7–14 days before departure fall within supplier penalty periods and may not qualify for full refunds.

4. Administrative Fees

  • Where refunds are permitted by suppliers, a 50% administrative and service fee will be deducted from any refundable amount.
  • This fee covers processing, supplier coordination, and administrative handling.

5. Non-Refundable Services

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Booking deposits
  • Service fees
  • Processing fees
  • Discounted or promotional travel packages
  • Tickets and reservations under supplier penalty rules

6. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds may take 7–21 business days to process, depending on the supplier and payment method.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

Refund exceptions are subject to supplier approval and are not guaranteed. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover unforeseen cancellations.
